James Stevenson has been the Manager of the Photographic Studio at the V&A Museum since 1993. The studio has fifteen staff who undertake all image and multimedia creation in the museum. The V&A Photo Studio has participated in the EU funded IST projects, ARTISTE, SCULPTEUR and ARCO. It is currently a partner in the DTI funded FABRIC project. Stevenson has recently project managed the installation of a Digital Asset Management system in to the V&A and was also part of the project to prided free access to high-resolution image content to academics and scholars via the museum Web site. He was previously Manager at the Photographic Studio of the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich London.
