Silvia Filippini-Fantoni is completing her PhD at Sorbonne University on the use of personalization technologies in museums. She has presented the results of her research at international conferences and seminars and has worked on projects with the Louvre and the City of Science and Industry in France, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Tate Modern and the J. Paul Getty Museum. More recently Silvia was employed as an evaluator and a product manger for multimedia at Antenna Audio, where she was responsible for the development of the software presented in this paper. Silvia is currently also a Visiting Research Fellow at London South Bank University, where she works with Professor J. P. Bowen on research issues related to the use of technology in museums
