Morag Hutcheson joined Parks Canada in 2003 with a background in science communications and exhibit and multimedia development having worked as an exhibit developer at the Canadian Museum of Nature and a science writer at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. She holds a B.A. in economics and computer science from Queen’s University and a Masters in Environmental Studies from Dalhousie University. As the manager of the newly established New Media Strategies and Investment group at Parks Canada, Morag leads the research and development of new technologies for use in outreach education and on-site interpretation at the Agency's system of National Parks, National Historic Sites and National Marine Conservation Areas.
