Xavier Perrot holds a Ph-D in "Production des hypermédias et des interactifs multimédias pour les musées" from the University of Paris 8. He now teaches at the University of Metz and is a research fellow of the STUDIO for Creative Inquiry, Carnegie Mellon University (USA). In additon, Xavier lectures at "École du Louvre" and "École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts" (Paris). He is a jury member of the iF Interaction Design Award 98 (Hannover), and for the EuroPrix Mutimedia Art 98 (Salzburg). Xavier coordinated the organization of the 4th International Conference on Hypermedia and Interactivity in Museums (ICHIM 97), and was in charge of the New Technologies issues for PTOLEMEE (Forum pour le développement des musées et expositions, Paris). Xavier serves as a consultant for cultural interactive projects, multimedia production and management studies. He has recently worked for the Musée du Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Agence de la Francophonie, Apple Computer, European Commission, Reed Midem Organization (Milia) and Andersen Consulting.
