Art Museum Image Consortium

The Art Museum Image Consortium (AMICO) is a two year old non-profit organization formed by museums in North America to provide educational access to multimedia documentation of works of art in their collections. AMICO will demonstrate the public web site which describes the consortium and provides a thumbnail catalog of its Library as well as the information systems maintained by AMICO distributors, who provide access to the full documentation and rich images. Prospective members -institutions worldwide with collections of art - are invited to discuss the benefits of membership. Potential distributors - non-profit and government institutions worldwide - are invited to discuss terms for providing access to their communities. And potential subscribers - universities, schools, libraries and museums - are invited to explore the terms and conditions for access to the AMICO Library.
