Susi Peacock has recently moved from Richmond, The American International University in London to Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh (http://www.qmuc.ac.uk) to develop virtual learning environments working with faculty drawn from health care (including physiotherapy, nursing, radiography and podiatry), social science, drama and communications. This will be continuing her work at RAIUL which explored and developed the innovative use of C & IT in the curriculum where she worked with faculty in social science, languages, business and the humanities. She has presented research at conferences including ALT-C, Digital Resources in Humanities, Computers in Art and Design Education (CADE) and Writing and Computers. Her master's research, based at the BT Research Laboratories, investigated the impact of IT on work with case studies in distance working. She is currently researching into the use of online asynchronous and synchronous discussion groups for building academic online communities and into the holistic opportunities afforded by new technologies to enable universities to become truly digital.

Susie will present Developing a Museum Web Presence for Higher Education - the Evaluation of an Online Course at Richmond, The American International University in Londo
