Conducting a Heuristic Evaluation of a Museum Web Site to Improve its Usability Session: Heuristic Evaluation This workshop introduces the concept and terminology associated with Web usability and heuristic evaluation of Web sites as a method of usability inspection. It provides the basic knowledge necessary to conduct a heuristic evaluation using the "Heuristics for Web Communications".
The participants of the workshop will be able to:
Requirements for participation include good knowledge of Web design and HTML.
This full day workshop will be conducted in a networked classroom at the University of Washington. Transportation from the hotel will be provided. Participation is limited to 4 groups of 4 (16 participants maximum)
