Workflow Issues: A Designer's Perspective Mini-Workshop: rejections The Frye Art Museum has almost twenty art exhibitions in three galleries per year in addition to three galleries for the Permanent Collection. The Design Department is responsible for all exhibition design, label production, vinyl production, the design of institutional publications and newsletters, advertising, exhibition catalogue design and production, and web site design and maintenance. With a small design staff, how do we get it all done? This Power Point presentation will run through the system the staff at the Frye has developed. With the Macintosh based design office, we will show what applications we use and the scheduling process we use to streamline our workflow. From image scanning (when to do it in-house and when to send out) and image cataloguing and organization to design processes, we hope to show shortcuts and tips. We will be happy to field questions as well.
