The eighth international Museums and the Web Conference will be held at the Marriott Crystal Gateway, 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA -- a short metro ride from the Washington, DC Mall. The approximately 600 registrants from museums and cultural institutions in more than thirty countries will be the largest gathering anywhere in the world this year of webmasters, educators using the Web, Web designers and administrators from content-rich, educationally-oriented, cultural institutions. At MW2004 exhibitors receive twelve hours of high visibility exposure, yet need not commit more than two days of staff time. Exhibitors will have all day, Thursday April 1, 2004 to set up, but should have time to attend the meeting since exhibit booths are pre-equipped with Internet drops and furniture, and computer equipment can be rented at discounted prices from the conference organizers. Exhibits open with a Reception the evening of April 1. Delegates have plenty of time in the schedule on April 2, 2004 to visit the Exhibit Hall and meet with Exhibitors. Breakdown is after 5:00 pm on April 2, 2004. Exhibitors are free to attend sessions and meet with clients on the final day of the conference.
