Rosanna Flouty is the Education Manager for New Media at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Over the past five years at the institution, she has been responsible for developing technology-based initiatives at the Sackler Center for Arts Education, an 8,200 square-foot art education facility that serves as a dynamic educational hub and learning laboratory for exploring and presenting a comprehensive range of program offerings that include digital-based high school after-school programs, family workshops, professional development for teachers, continuing education for adults, and new media artist collaborations with audiences of all ages.

Ms. Flouty holds an MA in Art Education, Museum Strand from the Rhode Island School of Design (2001), with an emphasis on the impact of technology on contemporary art museum education. Prior to joining the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in 2000, Flouty was an educational specialist for Intel Corporation at the Whitney Museum of American Art from 1998-1999. She has presented regionally and nationally on the subject of technology and art museums, including at the National Art Education Association conference in Minneapolis in 2003, at its Museum Educator Division Pre-Conference in Boston in 2005, and at the New York Museum Educator Round Table annual conference in 2004 and 2005.
