Ana Carr is professor at the University of Guadalajara (UdeG) where she has worked since 1981. During the last five years she has been a full time professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences at the College of Agriculture. Her research interests include environmental education issues related to environmental beliefs measurement and change, environmental communication, diffusion of innovations, web-based distance education, and public opinion on environmental issues. She represents the UdeG at the Guadalajara County Board for Sustainability as active member of the Continuous Education Teaching program. She has worked on distance education programs that include web-site components and evaluation where she has gotten awards in the area of instructional design. She has been web-master for different educational programs since 1995. B.S. in Agronomy graduated from the University of Guadalajara (1984). In 1993 was awarded a Fulbright scholarship for graduate education in Iowa State University in the United States where she got both Masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communication (1995) and a doctorate degree in Agricultural Education and Extension 1999). Ana Carr lives in Mexico and is married with two children.
