With degrees in Interior Design and Medieval History and Archaeology, and background in museums and education outreach programs, teaching in various areas of design and technology, Web development, business training and consulting, Ms. Bartley is the overall supervisor of the CERHAS projects and their administration and dissemination. Under her direction, CERHAS has grown into a multi-project, multi-disciplinary research lab, with dedicated faculty, permanent staff, research associates and graduate students. Notable current projects include the NEH funded EarthWorks Traveling Exhibit and Troy on the Internet and partnership on the Children's Museum of Manhattan's Growing up Greek. Her research interests focus on interdisciplinary approaches to the history and archaeology of ancient and medieval architecture and cultures, the interpretation and presentation of the past to public audiences, and the impact of multimedia and new technologies on research, analysis and interpretation.
