Kay Macquarrie is a Media Producer at Zentrum für Medien, Fachhochschule Kiel. Besides from development, design and production of multimedia, he is also concerned with usability, accessibility, and online learning resources.
During the past three years, Kay has been deeply involved in the EU-funded research project "Virtual Museum – living regional history of the Danish German border region", where he has been in charge of the development and production of multimedia content, web design, and more. Kay earned his Master’s degree in Multimedia Production in 2004 by submitting the thesis "Potentials of Virtual Museums - Media-Specific Conception of Cultural Learning Environments".
