Lorna O'Brien is Head of Digital Programmes in Learning and Interpretation at the V&A. She has been at the V&A since 2000 as Gallery Events Officer and then Head of Families and Young People. She developed large-scale drop-in digital events for families since 2000, and now manages digital learning programmes for families, adults and young people in the Digital Studio of the V&A Sackler Centre for Arts Education. She has Fine Arts background and worked in Gallery education at Manchester City Art Galleries between 1994 and 2000. She came to digital activities through personal interest, is very excited by the possibilities offered by the facilities of the Digital Studio and is looking for ideas for programme development.
