Maureen Ward Doyle is the Director of Heritance , a non-profit organization that promotes open museum practices worldwide. Since February 2006, Heritance has provided free training, consulting and web services to museums on four different continents. Heritance’s newest program is Open Museum, a global participatory museum that is making the world’s art accessible one thick object at a time. Prior to Heritance, Maureen taught French and Spanish language and culture for over ten years and completed masters degrees in business (ASU, Tempe, Arizona) and philosophy (UMB, Strasbourg, France).
