Elizabeth Yakel is a Researcher at the Collaboratory for Research
in Electronic Work (CREW) at the Univeristy of Michigan. Her current
project is the Medical Collaboratory Project, an NSF funded grant to
design software for the facilitation of reporting and consultation between
geographically dispersed clinicans and radiologists. She is also
finishing her Ph.D. at the University fo Michigan, School of Information
and in the Fall of 1997 will become an assistant professor at the
University of Pittsburgh, School of Information Sciences. Previously,
Elizabeth worked on several other grant funded projects including creating
a database of holding for the Vatican Archives Project and working as a
consultant for the Technical Assistance project. She has also been
director of archives and records managment for both the Maryknoll
Missioners and the Archdiocese of Detroit.
