Luisa Moscato completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Information Management (Archives and Records) at the University of Melbourne in 1991. She worked at the University of Melbourne as a Records Analyst from 1990 to 1995 where she was involved in development of the University's Electronic Records Management Program. In 1993, Luisa participated in the ground breaking two week residential workshop at Monash University 'Understanding Electronic Recordkeeping Systems' led by David Bearman. She has co-written an article on the development of the electronic records program at the University of Melbourne, "Towards an Electronic Records Management Program: The University of Melbourne," Archives and Manuscripts 22 (No. 1, May 1994), pp. 124-135. In November 1995 Luisa joined the Archives Authority of New South Wales. As the Senior Project Officer, Electronic Recordkeeping, Luisa leads a team responsible for implementing the strategies outlined in Documenting the Future - Policy and Strategies for Electronic Recordkeeping in the New South Wales Public Sector. She has also authored policy and guidelines on managing electronic messages as records for the State Government of New South Wales, and has co-designed and lectured in a Masters subject on Managing Electronic Records at the University of New South Wales. Luisa is currently the Convenor of the Australian Society of Archivists Special Interest Group on Electronic Records.
