Facilities Enjoy the exceptional natural surroundings of Big Rideau Lake.
The Boathouse has two large slips and a nearby canoe launching area in the cove. Canoes, kayaks, a pedalboat, a motorboat, a wind-surfer, and a small sailboat are available for participant’s use. The large lake is there to explore. If you fish, bring your own gear. Trout and bass abound. You can swim from the front dock to the raft, off the rocks near Diana's cottage, or at a separate shallow beach with a sandy bottom. The water is clean and safe.
	Ballybeg and Admiral's have porches and decks that provide plenty of quiet spaces to relax and read. Woodworking is a recreational facility, with a deck over the water, while the main lodge features "quiet games" anda reading room, Woodworking has "active games" room with ping- pong, and darts.
Croquet, volleyball, boulle, lawns and gardens, and footpaths around the island provide opportunities for relaxing.
