Roy Brigden
Roy Brigden has been Keeper of the Museum of English Rural Life since 1979 and Deputy Director of the Rural History Centre at Reading University since 1995. He is a history graduate and has recently completed a PhD on agriculture between the two World Wars. Particular interests centre on the evolution of the agricultural landscape over the last two hundred years. He has written widely on aspects of agriculture and the heritage and is strongly committed to disseminating the material contained in our extensive collections to as wide an audience as possible.
