Astrida Valigorsky
Astrida Valigorsky has been working in interactive media for just over five years. She began her career almost by accident at the tender age of 24, while a graduate student at the School of Visual Arts. Shortly after designing her first web site in January of 1995, she was hired as an intern at the then fledgling AGENCY.COM. The internship swifly led to her promotion as the company's first designer, where she designed and art directed a number of web sites for clients including HBO HomeVideo and American Express. In the years since, she has worked for a variety of interactive agencies and design firms in various capacities, wracking up a variety of experience in editorially-based information design, interactive brand development & strategy, and art direction for CD-ROM, web, and broadcast graphics. Previous to her arrival at MoMA, Astrida worked in the capacity of Creative Director for clients including the A&E Television Networks web properties (AandE.com, The HistoryChannel.com, Biography.com, & Mysteries.com) as well as for JVC-America.com.
