Marjolein Towler
BA (Communication Studies & English - Murdoch University), Dip.Tech (Instructional Multimedia - Advanced Manufacturing Technology Centre), MA (Multimedia Design - Curtin University of Technology). Born in the Netherlands Marjolein has lived in Perth, Western Australia since 1987 where she setup Consultas Pty Ltd with her husband. Her responsibilities are as Project Manager, Information Designer and Creative Director. Marjolein's main interest lies in the need for effective communication with digital technologies. Consultas undertakes interactive media projects for a range of clients in the public and private sector. In addition Marjolein was contracted to set up the Bachelor of Multimedia degree programme at Murdoch University from July 1998 to July 2000 and has now returned to her practice. http://www.consultas.com.au Marjolein is attending MW2001 with the assistance of Imago Multimedia Centre in East Perth, Western Australia, where she is the Depute Chairman on the Board of Directors. Imago was formed in 1995 as one of six centres around the country funded by the Australian Federal Government to develop a vibrant multimedia industry by playing an active part in research, project development, and the active encouragement of creative artists to work with digital media.
