Workshop: Changing Context not Content

The workshop explores the issues and opportunities of cross platform publishing of media objects. Discussion will focus on CMS specifications, creating media objects for cross-platform environments and the development of publishing templates and authoring tools. The presenters are Darren Peacock, Director, ICT, National Museum of Australia and Michael Payne and John O'Brien, Developers, Morison and Wall Interactive (MAWI).

Participants will develop an appreciation of the potential benefits of using such a system within their organizations to more efficiently create and reuse media assets and extend the reach of exhibition multimedia in the online space.
