Laura Bendoly Laura Matthias Bendoly has served as Curriculum and Distance Learning Manager in the education department of the Atlanta History Center since March, 2002. Her responsibilities there include the research and writing of education materials for the K-12 audience, the development and delivery of on-line resources (social studies lesson plans, interactive games and classroom activities), and the creation of distance learning programs (live, teleconference performances for the K-12 grades). She brings educational technology such as digital video and web page development to the education department, as well as to the community through continuing ed. courses and museum/school collaboratives. Previous education positions include Coordinator of Academic Services at the High Museum of Art (Atlanta), and Curriculum-Structured Tour Manager, at the Indiana University Art Museum. Her degrees include an MA in art history from Indiana University, an MFA in creative writing form Western Michigan University, and a BA in English and French from the University of Notre Dame.
