Joey Stocklein has been thinking about ways to deliver personalized electronic content for well over a decade. In the early 1990s, he designed and developed two award-winning programs that demonstrated the delivery of personalized content to help teach math and science to middle school students. After a short stay with the Instructional Products Group at Apple Computers, Inc., he went on to serve as Design Director at a number of emerging online companies. Most recently, he has turned his attention to the design and development of free-choice learning programs. Joey spends sleepless nights convinced that anyone can learn anything if it's presented in the right way.

Joey Stocklein received his B.S. in Psychology and Sociology with a concentration in analysis and research from the University of Wisconsin—Madison and his M.S. in Human-Centered Design from the Institute of Design in Chicago.
