Marla Misunas is the Manager of the Collections Database at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, where she has worked for over 10 years. Ms. Misunas is active in the profession on a regional and national level, having spoken on or coordinated sessions for the American Association of Museums, Museum Computer Network, and the Western Museums Association. Currently she heads the California Special Interest Group of MCN, serves on the MCN Board, and is the Conference Chair for MCN 2003 in Las Vegas. Interests include various applications of digital databases and data standards. Ms. Misunas holds an M.A. in Museum Studies from John F. Kennedy University, and a B.A. in Art History from the University of Chicago.
