Heidi Moisan Heidi J. Moisan is public historian for teacher and student programs at the Chicago Historical Society where she has worked for approximately nine years. As part of her responsibilities, Heidi researches, writes, and develops exhibition related curriculum materials and professional development courses for educators. She has an M.A. and B.A. in History from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL. Heidi received the Illinois Association of Museums Superior Achievement Award for Excellence in Curriculum Materials in 1995. She has been a presenter at several conferences, including the 2001, 2002, and 2003 Tribune Teacher Resource Fair; the 2000 TechEd Chicago: Teaching and Learning in a Network World; the 1999 Chicago Public Schools Cultural Enrichment Initiative; and the 2003 and 1999 Council for American Studies Education (CASE).
