The Living Room Candidate: Presidential Campaign Commercials, 1952-2004Carl Goodman, Museum of the Moving Image, USA Demonstration: Demonstrations - Session 2 This demonstration takes a behind-the-scenes look at the production of "The Living Room Candidate," a broadband online exhibition from the Museum of the Moving Image that allows its visitors multiple methods of navigation through fifty years of historical and present day presidential campaign advertisements. Working with a small staff and very little funding, the Museum was able to create and implement this video-based online experience that has, since July 2004, seen over 400,000 unique visitors.
