Graveyard of the Pacific: Shipwrecks of Vancouver IslandDavid Alexander, Zero One Design, Canada Demonstration: Demonstrations - Session 2 Graveyard of the Pacific: Shipwrecks of Vancouver Island is a virtual exhibition that chronicles the ships that went down around the treacherous shores of Vancouver Island, BC. The project is a collaboration between the Maritime Museum of British Columbia, the Vancouver Maritime Museum, the Museum at Campbell River, the Underwater Archaeological Society of British Columbia and the cultural design company Zero One Design. This exhibition offers a wealth of information about the numerous ships that have floundered on the Island's shores as well as the fascinating human and social history that went down with the ships. |
