Basil DewhurstTechnical Developer Basil Dewhurst has worked as Technical Developer at the Collections Australia Network/Australian Museums and Galleries OnLine for the past 5 years. His major role is developing applications and web services for making collection information available online. In the Australia's Fauna project he developed the software that allows distributed databases to be queried in real time by the OZCAM portal. Basil will present Deriving Meaning From Specimens: Making Zoological Data Available On The Web. |
