Martijn ArtsDirector Martijn Arts is one of the three original founders of ZaPPWeRK. Martijn Arts has a bachelors and masters degree in Industrial Design Engineering, Delft University of Technology. During his studies he focused on creativity and customer focus of high tech innovations. After graduating cum laude he started ZaPPWeRK Creative Webdevelopment with friends. In ZaPPWeRK Martijn started as designer/concepting, programmed in ColdFusion and SQL, started scripting in HTML and DHTML and worked with databases like MS Access and Borland Interbase. He also fulfilled the role of projectmanager and was accountable for the relationship with clients and coordinating workflow internally. Furthermore he coached projectmanagers within the company. Soon after one of the founders left the company Martijn Arts became the commercial and sales-director. Since the beginning of 2003 Martijn Arts is general manager of ZaPPWeRK and Maarten Derks replaced a former partner manages the internal organization. Martijn Arts is now responsible for ZaPPWeRK as a whole but especially sales, communication, quality and strategy. Martijn will present Culture Around The Corner And Its Location-Based Application. |
