Nicoletta Di BlasResearcher Nicoletta Di Blas graduated in Classics and obtained a PhD in Linguistic Sciences from the Catholic University of Milan. She currently teaches Communication Theory at the Politecnico di Milano (Como campus). Her research interests focus on the application of linguistic theories to Human Computer Interaction (with its outcomes on accessibility and usability issues), and on the educational aspects related to on-line shared 3D worlds. Cultural Heritage is the major field of application of both streams of research. In more than 4 years of cooperation with the HOC laboratory of Politecnico di Milano, she has been responsible for the educational/ cultural strategy of several projects (museum applications, shared 3d worlds for schools, on-line courses). She played a major role in the organization of ICHIM2001.
