Gail DurbinHead of V&A OnLine Gail Durbin is the Deputy Director of Learning and Interpretation at the V&A where she is currently responsible for the web. She has been at the V&A for about 13 years in various educational capacities from Head of the Schools Service to being a member of the Concept Team for the British Galleries. She started her career as a history teacher and has also worked for Norfolk Museums Service and English Heritage. She is entirely non-technical but hugely excited by the power of the web to further the mission of museums to reach out to and engage with their audiences. She has published widely on the educational aspects of museums. Gail will present 50 ways to make your site communicate in two directions. |
