Sheila CareyHeritage Information Analyst Sheila Carey is a Heritage Information Analyst with the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN). She received an M.A. in the History of Art (Specialist in Ancient Studies) from the University of Toronto in 1995. From 1996 to 1998, she worked at the Getty Information Institute in Los Angeles, in both the Vocabulary Program and Special Projects. Sheila has been with CHIN since 1998, and works in Content Management and Skills Development, managing Learning with Museums and the Teachers' Centre on the Virtual Museum of Canada. She participates in several working groups on metadata, and her research interests include information retrieval and access, digital preservation, and on-line learning.
