Evelyne Gobbo graduated in Philosophy from the University of Milan and she is a PhD student in Communication Sciences at the University of Italian Switzerland (USI)-Lugano.

She collaborates with Politecnico di Milano, Faculty of Engineering, focusing on cooperative e-learning, and is responsible for several educational projects with primary, junior and high schools. Her PhD studies involve the didactical and educational aspects of the use of advanced technologies by school aged children.

During the past 3 years of professional activity she took part in several national and international research projects (museum applications, e-learning advanced platform, content creation); she held several seminars on the topic of multimedia and computer supported cooperative work; she taught as lecturer at the Politecnico di Milano in Computer Science Fundamentals and Computer Graphics. Her research interests focus on the relation between education (the learning process) and new technologies, in particular regarding cultural heritage applications.

Evelyne will present 3D worlds and Cultural Heritage: Realism vs Virtual Presence.
