Tom HapgoodDesign Manager, Digital Arts Tom Hapgood's background is in photojournalism, print design and Web design. His past client work includes MTV, Verizon, Lifetime TV, Nickelodeon, Marriott, American Bankers' Association and the Water Environment Federation. Tom recently earned his M.F.A. in Visual Communication (design) from the School of Art. He recently gave a Web Graphics presentation at the Siggraph conference in San Diego and has been awarded the college's M.F.A. Fellowship for 2003-2004. Tom is responsible for working with Treistman Center staff and others to plan and carry out digital arts research projects. For these projects he provides design direction, project management and supervision of student and staff project teams. Tom will present Architecting the Elephant: Software Architecture and User Interface Design for Pachyderm 2.0. |
