Rachel SmithDirector, Development and Programs Rachel S. Smith is the Director of Development & Programs for the New Media Consortium. She works with member institutions on NMC projects and develops new opportunities for collaboration among members. Before joining NMC she worked at the California State University Center for Distributed Learning, where she was involved with the development of MERLOT, Biology Labs On-Line, Light Bridge, and similar projects. She is the author of the recently released monograph, Guidelines for Authors of Learning Objects. Rachel holds a Master's degree in Education from Stanford University. Rachel will present Shaping Pachyderm 2.0 with User Requirements. |
