Vivian Trakinski is a writer/producer specializing in science documentary programming. She began her career at Children's Television Workshop on the award winning PBS science series, 3-2-1 CONTACT. After CTW, Vivian went on to write and produce programs for a variety of audiences and venues. Some of Vivian's credits include "Genetic Dilemmas in Primary Care," a medical education program on the ethics of genetic testing funded by the Human Genome Project; the ABC News special, "Prejudice: Answering Children's questions" with Peter Jennings; and interactive media for educational publishers including Scholastic, Inc., Macmillan/McGraw-Hill, and Prentice Hall. Vivian joined the staff of Science Bulletins at the American Museum of Natural History in 1999.
