Jorge Gustavo RochaUniversidade do MinhoDepartamento de Informatica Campus de Gualtar Braga 4710 Portugal http://www.di.uminho.pt/~jgr Jorge Rocha, from the University of Minho, Portugal, is working on the EC project GEIRA, which is a major project in Portugal to bring cultural heritage to the citizens, mainly through the Web and CD-ROM publication. His team is responsible for defining appropriate representations for information archiving, manipulation and publication; from the beginning, SGML was adopted to manage large amounts of non structured data. Jorge Gustavo will present Identity and Representation: Social Justice and Community Building Through The Museums Of The Person. |
