Isabel Bernal holds a M.A degree in International Relations from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), the Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A degree in History from the University of Seville. Her interests include diffusion strategies of historical heritage, new technologies applications in libraries, museums and archives as well as international cultural cooperation. Prior to her work at eIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries) on library-related issues in transition countries, Isabel Bernal has worked in the Department of Academic Affairs of the EC Delegation to the United States and in the Unit of Preservation and Enhancement of Cultural Heritage in the European Commission headquarters in Luxembourg. She has recently moved to Rome, Italy.
