Otmar Moritsch studied physics at the Technical University of Vienna. In 1994 he earned his Ph.D. in Sciences - Physics at the Technical University of Vienna. Between 1994 and 1996 he was Assistant-Professor at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the Technical University of Vienna.

Since 1997 he has been the head of the department of Information and Communication Technologies at the Technisches Museum, Wien. Between 2000 and 2003 he planned, directed and supervised the installation of the new permanent exhibition medien.welten at the Technisches Museum, Wien. In addition he has organized and curated a number of special exhibitions, like TTA 03 (2003), an exhibition on the occasion of the European Multimedia Top Talent Award. He is also a board member of OEGIG, the Austrian Society for History of Computer Science, and OCG, the Austrian Computer Society.

Otmar will present Media Stories: An Integrative Storytelling In Physical And Virtual Spaces.
