Franziska FreyProfessor Franziska received her Ph.D. in Natural Sciences (concentration: Imaging Sciences) from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland in 1994. Prior to joining the faculty, she worked as a research scientist in the Image Permanence Institute at RIT. Her work focused on establishing guidelines for scanning, quality control, viewing, and archiving digital images. Franziska publishes, consults, and teaches in the U.S. and around the world on various issues related to establishing digital image databases and digital libraries. Franziska will present RIT American Museums Survey on Digital Imaging for Direct Capture of Artwork. |
