Is There Anyone Out There? Finding out about how our Web sites are used

Gail Durbin, Victoria & Albert Museum, United Kingdom
http://www.vam.ac.uk

The purpose of this workshop is to share ideas and information about successful ways of tracking how our websites are used. Participants are encouraged to bring reports, case studies and details of services or products that have been used successfully and that might suggest methodologies to others.

I will bring some examples of the use of pop-up surveys, Webtrends reports, and studies from Google and blogs that have helped us start to find out how the V&A site is being used. I plan to gather up information from the workshop to produce a sheet of ideas to circulate to all participants after the conference.
