Christine Reich is a Manager of Informal Education Research and Evaluation at the Museum of Science, Boston. Ms. Reich has worked at the Museum of Science for over 9 years. She began her career at the Museum of Science as an exhibit planner, where she worked developing and evaluating science inquiry-based exhibits, including the NSF-funded project Making Models, and focused on creating exhibition for visitors of a broad range of ages, abilities and disabilities. Currently, Christine Reich oversees research and evaluation efforts related to informal learning at the Museum of Science. Her efforts continue to focus on issues related to equity and access in museum learning environments, with a particular focus on universal design and female engagement in engineering design activities. She has spoken at over 10 national and international conferences, specifically discussing access to learning for persons with disabilities in museums. In addition to her work at the Museum of Science, Ms. Reich instructs the "Visitor Studies" course as part of the museum studies program at the Harvard University Extension School. Ms. Reich has Bachelor of Science in agricultural and biological engineering from Cornell University, a Certificate in Museum Studies from Harvard University, and a Masters of Education from Lesley University.
