Dr. John Chadwick was the Sr. Web Developer with the Arizona K-12 Center, a virtual center that provides professional development opportunities for teachers in Arizona. His redesign of the Center's Web site won an award from the Arizona Technology in Education Alliance for Distinguished Web Resources for K-12 Education. Prior to joining the Arizona K-12 Center he was a Senior Research Associate with the Institute for Learning Innovation, a non-profit research group that specializes in assessment and evaluation in informal learning environments. He has also worked with New Mexico Office of Cultural Affairs and the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in Albuquerque, NM. In ten years with the agency he has worked as a contractor, systems analyst, and network administrator, and Web administrator. He has a doctorate in educational technology from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque with a dissertation titled, "A Survey of Characteristics and Patterns of Behavior in Visitors to a Museum Web Site." Dr. Chadwick has published articles on the use of computers in museums and on the use of the Internet by museums and museum professionals.
