Del Muise teaches in the Public History Masters program at Carleton University in Ottawa, where he specializes in aspects of History and New Media as well as broader issues of memory and historical consciousness. He worked for ten years at the National Museum of Man (Canadian Museum of Civilization) as the Atlantic Provinces Historian. Recently he has written articles about the television series Canada: A People's History and the presentation of Canadian History on the Web. He is the editor of Canadian History Web Review, an on-line review project of the graduate history students that assesses various web-exhibits dealing with aspects of Canadian history. He is also part of a team of scholars developing a project to survey how Canadians use the past to inform their everyday lives, which includes a substantial enquiry into web related issues.
