Bryan, originally from New Zealand and now resident in the UK, joined the V&A from the Post Office three years ago as a 'Development Project Manager'. After implementing 'Access to Images' (an online link to a subset of the central object database) and specifying the requirements and solution design for the new web site, he has sought to bring technologies that have proven success in the business world to the heritage sector. These include Business Process Management - or 'workflows' software, CRM (customer relationship management), and Web Services (the subject of the current paper). Bryan's background is nevertheless in the humanities, in that he holds a PhD in Music Theory, based on research using computer software in music analysis.

Bryan will present Using Web Services To Deliver Information Integration. [Paper]
