Megan Kirkpatrick is the Manager of Statewide Programs for the New York State Historical Association and its sister institution, The Farmers' Museum. Ms. Kirkpatrick is a recent graduate from the Cooperstown Graduate Program, receiving a Master of Arts in History Museum Studies. Harvest of History served as her graduate internship and became part of her full-time job responsibilities last February. A graduate of Western Michigan University in Public History, Ms Kirkpatrick was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor fraternity in 2003. A Michigan native, Ms. Kirkpatrick has worked at the Mann House Museum in Concord, MI; Fayette Historic State Park in Garden, MI and the Kalamazoo Valley Museum, in Kalamazoo, MI, before attending graduate school in Cooperstown, NY. She recently managed the re-design of the New York State History Day website at www.nyshistoryday.org and is overseeing the continued growth and development of Harvest of History.
