Kathleen Kvern is the Project Director of mnartists.org at the Walker Art Center. Kvern joined the Walker in 2004 when mnartists.org was incorporated in the Education and Community Programs Department to lead the site in strategic planning and growth. She brings 15 years of experience in marketing and business development with strong managerial, organizational, and communication skills. In 1990 Kvern founded and was president of The Fine Line, a gallery and showroom in the River North District of Chicago, IL. As a result of her entrepreneurial experience with her own business, in 1996 she was contracted to start up a gallery/showroom in the Architectural and Design Building in New York City.
