About this Site

This site contains electronic versions of all MW2008 papers. All papers have colour illustrations, and live links to sites referenced. Thesite also includes abstracts of all the Mini-Workshops, Demonstrations and Workshops presented at Museums and the Web 2008 and the biographies of all speakers and presenters.

Where to find things

In the left navigation bar:

  • Speakers opens a list of all the Speakers at the conference and provides links to their abstracts (from the paper title), biographies (from the speaker name), and papers where available (from the paper icon – paper icon– in the Paper On-line column).
  • Sessions opens an overview of the Museums and the Web 2008 conference program. Paper titles in the list link to Abstracts; author names link to Speaker Biographies. Abstracts provide a summary of each MW2008 program element, including Demonstrations and Workshops. When there is a paper available, the Paper Title in the Abstract (and the paper icon) links to the full paper text. Authors’ names link to their Biographies.
  • Interactions opens a list of more interactive sessions.
  • Demonstrations opens a list of all museum demonstrations.
  • Best of the Web will take you to the results of the Best of the Web 2008 competition on the live conference Web site.
  • Search will connect you to the on-line search of all papers on the Archives & Museum Informatics Web site.
