Ion Androutsopoulos is an assistant professor in the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business in Greece and Research Fellow of the Digital Curation Unit of the "Athena" Research Centre. My current research interests include:
- natural language question-answering systems for databases and document collections
- multilingual generation of natural language documents from ontologies and databases
- document categorization
- information extraction from documents
- machine learning in natural language processing.
